October User Conferences and Workshops in Europe and North America

DNV Software is hosting a series of conferences, workshops and seminars for its Safeti and Sesam customers in Europe and North America during October. Please see below for a summary of these events and follow the links for further information and registration details.

The User Conferences will provide updates on product developments and technical advances as well as informing you of future plans and giving you an opportunity to provide feedback on the software and plans.

The Workshops are designed to provide a more detailed insight to the modelling methods employed in the software, how features have been implemented and how to interpret results. These are not intended to replace training courses but give experienced users a good head start in using new features.

The Seminar will introduce the technology, its uses and capabilities for anyone who has an interest. The software will be demonstrated using simplified examples for real life applications of the tools.

Sesam Offshore Engineering Seminar & Training Course in Abu Dhabi, 13-15 October. The seminar will focus on presentations of the latest advances within the Sesam suite of programs, with particual focus on structural strength analysis using GeniE.

Paris User Conference, Wednesday 14th October. This conference will focus on the Safeti products, primarily Phast and Phast Risk. There will also be topical presentations from DNV Energy and Institut pour une Culture de Sécurité Industrielle (ICSI) based in Toulouse.

Safeti Performance Forecasting Seminar and Workshop, Thursday 15th October. There will be a free open workshop on the Safeti Performance Forecasting tools Maros and Taro. These are advance RAM simulation software tools for assessing the performance of an upstream or downstream asset.

Houston User Conference & Workshops, 20th & 21st October 2009. The first day is the user conference which will have three parallel streams following a short plenum session. The streams will focus on Safeti QRA products, Safeti Performance Forecasting Products and Sesam Products. There will be a variety of presentations from users outside of DNV Software. The workshops will be on the second day covering a variety of topics for the Safeti QRA and Sesam Products.

Philadelphia User Conference, 22nd October 2009. This user conference will focus purely on the Safeti QRA products.

Sesam Offshore Engineering Seminar in Copenhagen 27 October. The seminar will focus on presentations of the latest advances within the Sesam suite of programs.

Software Seminar in Gothenburg, 29 October 2009. This seminar will focus on the latest advances within the Sesam and Nauticus suite of programs, with particular focus on structural strength analysis using GeniE.

We will also be hosting Sesam User Meetings in Aberdeen and London in early December.
