DNVは、エリクソン社のサスティナビリティリポートとCRレポートを検証致しました。Global Compactに関する通年活動の経過報告を含むこのレポートは、GRIのサスティナビリティレポートガイドラインに基づいた検証においてA＋を達成致しました。
DNVは、エリクソン社のサスティナビリティおよびコーポレート・レスポンシビリティに関するレポート「Ericsson Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility Report 2009」を検証致しました。
Global Compactに関する通年活動の経過を含むこのレポートは、GRIのサスティナビリティレポートガイドラインに基づいた検証においてA＋を達成致しました。
リポートについて
エリクソン社は、このレポートにおいて、21世紀におけるインフォメーションのインフラの変化によってテレコミュニケーションがいかなる変容を遂げたのかの現状分析を行っています。経済的に困窮したした人々がどうやってモバイルコミュニケーションをつかって世界中とつながるのか、またそのテクノロジーが途上国の貧困サイクルをどのように改善していくのかを詳細に示すものとなっています。
またこのリポートは、エリクソンがオペレーションにおいて如何に10％のCO2排出削減を達成したかを示しています。また、2009年における製品ライフサイクルも示しています。 さらに、2008年からサプライヤー行動規範監査数とアセスメントに関する要求をを倍に引き上げたこと、認証を受けた国ごとのサプライヤー行動規範を2008年末から50カ国を130カ国まで増やしたことを報告しています。

検証範囲は以下
· Sustainability and CR management practices at Group level focusing on assertions made within the Report in relation to: sustainability and CR strategy, management and reporting; governance of sustainability and CR; management system audit; Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA), environmental management; health and safety management; human resources management; systems design and configuration; supplier management and Code of Conduct;
· Adoption of Ericsson Group sustainability and CR-related policies, practices and procedures across 13 Market Units covered by DNV assessors in the Global Assessment Plan for 2009, focusing on key sustainability and CR issues covered in the Report, including senior management leadership and oversight; local sourcing and supplier management; facilities management; health, safety and environment; human resources; and CR project management;
· Sustainability and CR-related actions, initiatives and projects described in the Report;
· Processes and tools for collecting and managing quantitative and qualitative data and information reported
